About IET India Scholarship Award 

For engineering students, the IET India Scholarship Award 2022 has been created. The students in this program will get monetary prizes for their excellence, inventiveness, and leadership. To be eligible for the award, students must pass an online test, make a presentation, and participate in a group discussion.

IET India Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

• Open to students enrolled in a full-time, regular undergraduate engineering program (in any area) recognized by AICTE/UGC in the first, second, third, or fourth year.
• Lateral entry students who enroll in the second year of the B.Tech degree are also eligible for the award.
• All normal credit courses had to be completed in one attempt by applicants.
• The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for all previously completed semesters for applicants must be at least 6.5 on a scale of 10 or at least 60 percent.
• There is no age limit for the applicants.

Benefits

The following are the ways that the chosen students will receive the scholarship:

For the regional selection round

Under this scholarship, there will be at least 4 regional rounds, and the recipient will get the following amount:

• Winner of the Regional Round: INR 50,000 + Certificate Runner-up: INR 25,000 + Certificate.

For the national championship

The regional round winners will participate in the national final, and the following scholarships will be given out:

• First Runner-up: 80,000 + Certificates; Second Runner-up: 60,000 + Certificates; Winner: 1,20,000 + Certificate.
