The IBM Research Lab’s IBM Summer 2023 Internship Program in India is now available. This internship program aims to provide the best learning opportunities for students from all over the world. Without interns, our team and approach would be incomplete.

During the internship, we focus on a wide range of topics in exploratory and applied research, including work in NLP, Conversation Systems, Data, and AI, Distributed Systems, Cryptography, and many other areas. We have a thriving and expanding open-source program in well-established communities such as Hyperledger, Kubernetes, and AI-Fairness & Explainability.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Btech, MS, Mtech, or Ph.D.
Degrees in mathematics and computer science are preferred. - The student should be well-versed in one or more of the programming languages commonly used in open-source community projects, such as Go, Python, Ruby, C/C++, Java, Node.js, Javascript, and so on.
- The student should have some Linux programming experience.
- It is beneficial to be familiar with open source initiatives from the Kubernetes/Big Data platform communities, such as Knative, Operators, Fluentd, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and others.
- Excellent knowledge of agile procedures in software engineering
- The student must have a strong aptitude for problem-solving as well as the ability to delve into complex areas of study.
